This past week Area 51 IPTV shutdown their services. As of July 4th, Area51 is no longer accessible and can no longer be accessed on any devices.
Along with the shutdown Area51 also closed their website. This has left many users without a way to access their client portal.
What is Area 51 IPTV and should you use it?
Area 51 has become a very popular IPTV service. Supporters of the service say that it provides hundreds of channels for just $5, so how could a person go wrong? However, there are some questions regarding how Area 51 IPTV can turn a profit and whether or not it’s a case of “too good to be true”. Below, we dig into what Area 51 IPTV has to offer and whether it’s worth signing up for service.

The Area51 IPTV staff sent out an email to “some” users explaining this situation. Supposedly, there is another IPTV company that is taking over the active clients from Area51. If you received that email from them you should have been told which website to go to and that your previous login information would work at this new website
Didn’t receive an email?
Don’t worry, many users are complaining that they never received this email. We have seen proof of this email however we did not personally receive
this email ourselves.
This is a prime reason we ONLY recommend purchasing IPTV on a month to month basis. You never know when one of these companies will
shutdown their services!
Expecting a refund? Don’t bother. This is the downside to IPTV services like this. We wish we could provide you with a better option however we
currently do not have one at this time.
Our only recommendation moving forward would be to look into other services like Watchya TV IPTV and others. Again, if you decide to move forward with another provider ONLY purchase a month to month plan! Don’t waste your money when there’s no guarantee that the services won’t remain active!
